Memory Cruise
is a volunteer organization pairing vintage car owners & clubs with retirement villages, senior & assisted living centers, and nursing homes to host on-location car shows for residents and their families.
ABOUT US
In my youth, I had the advantage of growing up in the same small town as both sets of grandparents. What I most enjoyed was hearing stories about their own youth and seeing the sparkle in their eye as they recounted those memories with me. Many of those stories revolved around the cars they penny pinched to buy, took to drive-in movies and diners, and won impromptu drag races with! Cars were a big part of their lives, part of their identity, and in their later years, serve as an anchor to which many of the best memories of their lives are attached. Like music, poetry, and pictures, vintage cars ignite joy and serve as a bridge connecting one generation to the next.

It was with this inspiration that I started Memory Cruises as a volunteer organization. Our goal is to provide information and assistance in pairing vintage car clubs/owners with nearby retirement villages and nursing homes to host mini-car shows on location, allowing residents to take a cruise down memory lane without leaving the safety of their new "home".
